Chess Club
Chess Club meets in the cafeteria at 8:15am on the scheduled dates. Doors open at 8:10am.
Schedule
The dates for Chess Club this year will be on the first Friday of the month starting in September with the exception of Winter Break and Spring Break weeks. There will be additional mid-month club sessions starting in January due to tournaments. Here are the dates:

We will be starting tournaments shortly after the new year and will hold them by grade level. Additional details will be shared in January.
Participation
Chess Club starts at 8:15am in the cafeteria, doors open at 8:10 am. The fee for attendance is $2 per session. A breakfast snack will be served.
Students can earn a token for attending five 5 Chess Club sessions.
Volunteers Needed!
Thank you all who have expressed interest in volunteering! Please see below the volunteer sign-up link. We will need door holders, help at check-in desk, and food helpers. We also need volunteers with Chess expertise to advise our players, especially available grandparents! If you have a grandparent interested who isn’t already involved in PTA, please let us know so we can get him/her on our email list.
