We have some great chances for you to get involved at Watkins during the month of October! See below:
In October we conduct a literacy screening assessment called PALS for all Kindergarten students. In order for us to conduct the testing in a small group format, we need volunteers to watch over stations/activities set up in the cafeteria for our students . All materials are set up and planned by the teachers. You just need to be there to help them if needed. Please consider signing up for one or even more mornings. It is a great opportunity to get to know the kindergarten students and really helps out the teachers as well.
Papa John’s Night
(This event is sponsored by the school, not by the PTA.)
Volunteers are needed to drive teachers to deliver pizza on Wednesday, Oct 11th . They will need to arrive at Papa John’s at Ivymont between 4:15 and 4:30, and hope to finish around 7:30. Please contact Mrs. Karyn Andersen with any questions: email@example.com
We need help in the cafeteria with assisting our students during lunch. You can find out more information here.
We can always use help in the library shelving books or checking out students.
